I will send you a link to either Headway or Carepatron to schedule our first appointment.
I currently accept Alaskan insurance plans from Aetna, Cigna, Optum, and United Health Care. Headway is the third-party company that manages eligibility and billing for me. I will need your home address, carrier, Member ID and Group ID to get started. This process can take 3-5 days so please keep this in mind.
Self-pay rates:
$150 for initial assessment
$125 for family and couples
$100 for individual

Informed Consent:
This refers to information about the therapeutic process and what the client can expect. In my practice I outline length of treatment, safety assessments, referral process, scheduling, and late/no show policies.
Confidentiality:
I go over the extent and limits of confidentiality as well. There are legal and ethical standards in place to protect the individual’s private health information. The exceptions are based on the risk of harm to self or others, court order, or requests by insurance to secure payment. Each of these circumstances will be discussed with the client in advance and with their knowledge.
I have a few expectations that are different from in-person therapists, such as being in a safe environment that doesn’t move, like a moving vehicle or walking outside. I ask that clients let me know if they are consuming alcohol or other drugs during the session.
Late Cancelation/No Show fee happens, even if I feel bad about it.
