Depressed:

Numb, apathy, low to no motivation, sad mood most of the time, low self-esteem, low self-confidence, no longer happy doing things you like to do, use more substances, eat and sleep differently, thinking that others are better off without you, and frequency of suicidal thoughts increases

 

Anxiety:

Changing your life or routine to avoid stimuli or fears such as being in public, afraid of being judged by others, don’t like crowds, avoid grocery shopping, afraid of looking stupid so overreact with anger or frustration, feeling put on the spot, experience anxiety and panic attacks, easily overwhelmed, shy, don’t like to speak up in groups, want to disappear in a group setting
